After the groundbreaking performances at Open’er and Glastonbury, DakhaBrakha played in B90 for a very special kind of concert.
Unlike some people, I strongly believe that artists should use their voice for political matters. DakhaBrakha are from Ukraine, I don’t think I have to tell you what is in their mind right now. It’s even more than political, it’s survival, a question of death or life, the fight against the aggressor.
It was a very powerful concert, emotions came from their music, voice and message. The public, I imagine composed with a lot of Ukrainians refugees welcomed by the people of Poland, was so overwhelmed by the evening.
It felt like an intimate concert, the music was moving and exhilarating, the drums obsessive and the voices!
