With an uncontainable enthusiasm, I embarked on the second day of the festival, driven by the anticipation of witnessing Lord of the Lost and finally catching Behemoth after three missed opportunities. Last night was a dream. Like stepping into a musical wonderland in the heart of the city. The place was Drizzly Grizzly, a well known venue that got a recent upgrade in preparation of the upcoming Mystic Festival,. And let me tell you, it was the perfect setting for a night of electrifying music by Gggolddd and Mono.
Let’s dive deep into the sheer madness that was the second day of Sea You. If you thought the first day was intense, you clearly weren’t ready for what went down on day two. Fortunately, the sudden and inexplicable cold that left me reeling the day before vanished into thin air during the previous night, leaving me feeling revitalized and ready to take on the day with complete control over my mind and body.
Let me tell you about the Sea You Music Showcase in Gdansk. For three whole days, this event brought together a wide range of talented musicians from all over the Tri-City area. And it was a real celebration of musical diversity!
French musician Gautier Serre, known by his stage name Igorrr, brought his unique blend of Metal, Electro, and Classical Music to B90 last Friday with Amenra, Der Weg Einer Freiheit & Hangman’s Chair. All four performances were phenomenal, each with its own distinctive style, but equally musically arousing.
Last Monday’s evening in B90 in the presence of Wheel, Epica and Apocalyptica, was just exceptional. The crowd did show in huge number from the start and erupted with joy and into cheers as soon as the first note of the first band echoed in the place.
The Saturday concert hosted by Podwórko.Art was a huge success, with tickets completely sold out and a full set of fans in attendance.
On a chilly night near the historical old shipyard of Gdansk, music enthusiasts gathered in Wydzial Remontowy to witness an explosive performance by Species, Pandemic Outbreak & Frightful. An evening of quality Death Metal & Thrash.
On February 11th, Wydzial Remontowy played host to Punk Rebelia featuring Plan Minimum, Udrożnić Pisuar & GA-GA Zielone Żabki. The event was a huge success, attracting a large and diverse crowd of punk lovers from all over the city.
Beside being down by 2 members because of illness, Zeal & Ardor played a hell of a set, a melange of genre, when black metal meets soul and blues. It was near perfection!
