Sopot Jazz Festival 2022 is three days of original, improvised music with the participation of intriguing artists from different parts of the world

Kaguramusou played at the InLand International Art Festival on a heavy but very pleasing way.

Created in 2020 by the singer and actress Nanami Akatsuki, the band mix for the best, traditional Japanese instruments with a powerful metal.

Imperial Triumphant were in Gdansk for the second time in just a few months.

And that didn’t bother anybody as the club was full again. But what do you expect when the band is playing such an avant-garde kind of Metal?

Schizma is from Bydgoszcz, a city rather well known for its beautiful post modern style opera house – I’m sarcastic here, and I may even make myself some ennemies.

She really has a talent for writing entertaining pop song, with still a lot of rock in it. I’m not a big fan, neither a huge connoisseur of her discography, but I presume she sang her best hits during the concert: and as she seems very happy to be here, the fans answered back with huge claps and screams.

I really appreciate them, the sadness in their music, the depressive lyrics – sometimes, – and even if I’m an happy person now, we can’t close our eyes on the whole actual situation. Pandemics, wars, global warming, the rise of extremism and religious bigotry in some countries… There is really no hope in sight.

The show started with a big bang, we have been warned. This is going to be different than any other metal concert. It’s going to be provocative, very loud, and with lots of fire and explosion.

I’ve been following open’er concerts since more or less 6 years so as a local I started my festival adventure pretty late.

I got hooked on it right away so after 3 years of covid pause I was pretty excited about going to this year’s edition.
