Imperial Triumphant were in Gdansk for the second time in just a few months.
And that didn’t bother anybody as the club was full again. But what do you expect when the band is playing such an avant-garde kind of Metal? A mix of Black Metal & Jazz, and a presence on stage that has no equivalent at all. They look like ancient Gods playing some music for us mere mortals.
I couldn’t see their concert during Mystic because of some misunderstanding between my brain and my legs, so when I saw that they were playing an encore in Drizzly Grizzly, I just jumped of joy.
And it was as good as I expected. It was a feast for all my senses. There was a real communication between the band and the public through their music. And those masks! They add some kind of mystery or mythology. Are they Gods? Ancient Priests? Satanists may be? And even with those mask, you could feel their emotions. The way they move their heads, they did tell us something.
I was speechless. I could use hundreds of superlatives about them.
