Festivals is our long view of multi-day chaos, where scenes overlap, schedules blur, and the scale changes how music is felt. From muddy fields to city showcases, this section documents festivals as lived environments, not just line-ups on a poster.
Reports, interviews, galleries, and moments that only make sense when thousands of people are in the same place at the same time. If it’s here, it happened on site, somewhere between the first wristband scan and the last exhausted walk home.
After a warming up day on Wednesday, Thursday was the real first day of the festival.
With so many bands, on so many different stages, we had to make a plan. Of course the biggest bands were on the main stage, but it would have been a mistake to not walk around the other ones.
