The inaugural headliners for next year’s Inside Seaside festival have just been unveiled, and leading the charge is the acclaimed band IDLES. If you’re not familiar with them yet, now’s the perfect time to get up to date.
They formed in Bristol in 2009, and comprises Joe Talbot (vocals), Mark Bowen (guitar), Lee Kiernan (guitar), Adam Devonshire (bass), and Jon Beavis (drums). They rapidly got acclaimed with their successive albums. They will release their 5th album “Tangk” on the 16th of February 2024. So be ready to hear their newest songs live during the festival!
Mark Bowen co-produced the album alongside Nigel Godrich, known for his work with Radiohead, and hip-hop producer Kenny Beats. Check out below the music video for Idles‘ latest song, “Dancer” featuring vocals from James Murphy and Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem.
Kicking off the roster for the Inside Seaside 2024 program, IDLES leads a lineup of both international and Polish artists in this two-day music celebration. Set to take place on November 9-10 at the AmberExpo halls in Gdansk, the festival promises an array of concerts and engaging accompanying events within its encompassing venue.
Building on the triumph of its inaugural edition, which drew an impressive crowd of over 12,000 attendees, the festival has already become a cornerstone of autumn music events, and that after even only edition!
