Death metal aficionados can revel in the melancholic and melodic sounds of Finland’s Insomnium or embrace the brutal and relentless vibe of cult favorites Terrorizer, featuring the powerhouse duo of David Vincent and Pete Sandoval. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as David Vincent will also headline Vltimas, a death metal supergroup formed with Blasphemer (ex-Mayhem) and Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy).

For those with a taste for the unconventional, Czech grindcore heroes Gutalax, known for their performance antics matching the spirit of “Sex, Drugs and Fecal Gore” are set to grace the stage. Meanwhile, Brits from Party Cannon bring their crushing slam death metal to get the party started.

Musical diversity takes center stage with the progressive stoner rock of Villagers of Loannina City and the psychedelic hard rock of Sweden’s Gaupa. Masters of heavy-weight prog-metal, Textures, and the genre-blending Evil Invaders offer technical prowess and excellent sound.

Progressive metal enthusiasts will find solace in Dvne, influenced by post-metal monumentalism, while Skálmöld delivers Viking battle songs straight from Iceland. D-beat-driven black metal from Dödsrit, the black metal aggression balanced with doom solemnity by Americans Witching, and shameless rock’n’roll party vibes from Massive Wagons offer a range of musical experiences.

Ambition and a solid dash of hardcore characterize Ditz’s rock performances, while Ten56, from Paris, promise mayhem with their unique blend of deathcore and nu-metal. With such a diverse lineup, Mystic Festival in Gdansk is shaping up to be a celebration of metal in all its glory. Get ready to immerse yourself in a sonic journey like never before.
