More than six decades after he first burst onto the music scene, Sir Tom Jones remains one of the most recognisable and celebrated voices in popular music. On 23 July 2026, the Welsh legend will return to Poland for a special performance at Sopot’s iconic Opera Leśna as part of his European “Come Gather Round Tour 2026”.

Few artists have managed to maintain both relevance and artistic credibility across generations quite like Tom Jones. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, an extraordinary catalogue of timeless songs and a career that continues to evolve, he remains a towering figure in popular culture.

From classics such as “It’s Not Unusual”, “Delilah”, “What’s New Pussycat?” and “Green, Green Grass Of Home” to the critically acclaimed later period of his career, Jones has consistently demonstrated a rare ability to connect with audiences of all ages. While many artists become prisoners of their greatest hits, Tom Jones has continued to push forward creatively, exploring blues, soul, gospel, folk and contemporary songwriting with remarkable success.

At 85 years old, he is enjoying some of the strongest reviews of his entire career. His recent albums, including “Surrounded By Time”, “Long Lost Suitcase”, “Spirit In The Room” and “Praise & Blame”, produced by Ethan Johns, have been widely praised by critics for their emotional depth and artistic ambition. In 2021, “Surrounded By Time” made history by making Jones the oldest male artist to reach number one on the UK Official Albums Chart with an album of new material.

Born in Pontypridd, South Wales, Jones rose from humble beginnings to become an international superstar during the 1960s. His powerful voice, magnetic stage presence and ability to move effortlessly between musical genres quickly established him as one of the defining performers of his era. Along the way he collaborated with an astonishing range of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Dolly Parton and Ed Sheeran.

His achievements have been recognised with numerous honours throughout his career, including a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, multiple BRIT Awards, the Silver Clef Award, the Music Industry Trusts Award and the Songwriters Hall of Fame Hitmaker Award. Beyond music, he remains familiar to millions as a long-standing coach on “The Voice UK” and a regular presence on major television events and charitable initiatives.

Tickets go on general sale from 20 March via Live Nation Polska and TomJones.com.
