The line-up of the Gdansk indoor festival is expanding. And it look slike this year will another very good millesime.
The excitement is building as Inside Seaside 2024 unveils new bands for its lineup, featuring an eclectic mix of artists poised to captivate music enthusiasts in Gdańsk. With one-day tickets now available for purchase, the festival promises to be an unforgettable experience for all fans.
Leading the charge is London-based female rock band The Last Dinner Party, set to make their Polish debut at Inside Seaside. Their music, a blend of glam rock with gothic and new wave influences, is characterized by a diverse and predatory sound, accompanied by a unique display of female power. The band’s debut album, “Prelude to Ecstasy” released in February 2024, has already left an indelible mark on the indie rock scene, with chart-topping singles like “Nothing Matters“, “Sinner“, and “On Your Side“. Their upcoming performance at Inside Seaside is anticipated to bring an original and captivating energy to the festival, drawing inspiration from Romantic poets and Gothic novelists.
Joining The Last Dinner Party on the lineup is Texas-based duo Black Pumas, adding a soulful and psychedelic touch to the festival’s atmosphere. Comprising Adrian Quesada and Eric Burton, Black Pumas infuse their music with soul, R&B, and psychedelia, creating a unique blend reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s. Nominated seven times for Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Rock Performance, Black Pumas have quickly garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Their appearance at Inside Seaside is a nod to lovers of alternative R&B and rock, promising an emotional journey through their evocative vocals and lyrical depth.
Completing the lineup are the acclaimed British band IDLES and Australian singer-producer RY X. IDLES, known for their raw and energetic performances, released their latest album, “TANGK” earlier this year, showcasing their signature punk rock style and socially charged lyrics. RY X, a Grammy-nominated artist and producer, brings a profound sense of connection to his music, exploring themes of nature, spirit, and human experience through expressive vulnerability. His latest album, “Blood Moon“, released in 2022, sets the stage for an introspective and emotive performance at Inside Seaside.
Scheduled for 9th and 10th November at the AmberExpo halls in Gdańsk, Inside Seaside promises not only exceptional musical performances but also a vibrant atmosphere filled with accompanying events and activities. Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2023, which drew over 12,000 attendees and filled a void in the autumn music calendar, this year’s festival is poised to elevate the cultural landscape of Gdańsk once again.
