The Witcher: Music of the Continent Brings the Sound of the Northern Kingdoms to ERGO ARENA

The Path is calling once again.

After an acclaimed debut tour and overwhelming demand from fans across Europe, The Witcher: Music of the Continent will return in autumn 2026, stopping at ERGO ARENA on 5 November for what promises to be one of the most distinctive live events of the year. Created as part of the celebrations marking the tenth anniversary of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, this is far more than a video game concert. It is an immersive journey through one of modern gaming’s greatest adventures.

At the heart of the production is the unforgettable soundtrack of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, newly arranged under the supervision of composer Marcin Przybyłowicz. Performed live by a fourteen piece ensemble that includes members of Percival Schuttenbach, whose folk inspired performances helped shape the game’s musical identity, the concert captures both the brutal intensity of monster hunts and the quiet melancholy of Geralt’s lonely road.

The performance is accompanied by specially created visuals and carefully selected gameplay sequences from the game, projected on a massive screen to create a cinematic experience rather than a traditional concert. Every visual has been designed to match the music and the emotional arc of Geralt of Rivia’s story, making the audience feel as though they have stepped back into the war torn Northern Kingdoms.

There is good reason why “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” continues to inspire this level of devotion. Released in 2015, the game transformed the role playing genre with its richly written quests, morally complex choices and extraordinary world building. More than a decade later it has sold over 60 million copies, while the entire The Witcher game series has surpassed 75 million sales worldwide and collected well over one thousand industry awards.

The concert is also a celebration of Polish creativity on the world stage. Built on the fantasy universe created by Andrzej Sapkowski, brought to life by Warsaw based developer CD PROJEKT RED, and enriched by the distinctive folk influences of Percival Schuttenbach, The Witcher has become one of Poland’s greatest cultural exports. Few game soundtracks have achieved such iconic status, blending Slavic folk traditions, medieval instrumentation and modern orchestral arrangements into a musical language that is instantly recognisable.

The 2026 European tour follows successful performances across North America, Asia and Europe, with 25 cities included on the itinerary. Gdańsk joins a prestigious list of venues welcoming this production as it continues its worldwide celebration of one of gaming’s defining masterpieces.

Fans attending the ERGO ARENA performance will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive official The Witcher merchandise available only during the tour. Organisers have also confirmed that the projected gameplay footage and visual content will be presented in the original English language version without Polish subtitles. As the focus of the evening is the live musical performance, this will not affect the concert itself, but visitors should be aware of it before attending.

Whether you first rode into White Orchard in 2015 or only recently discovered Geralt’s world, The Witcher: Music of The Continent offers the rare chance to experience one of the most celebrated soundtracks in video game history exactly as it deserves to be heard, performed live, loud and with all the emotion that made millions of players fall in love with the Continent in the first place.
