Organizer: Live Nation PolandSting is returning to the Tri City area with his STING 3.0 tour, bringing a stripped back, three piece live show to ERGO ARENA on 7 June 2027. Following strong demand, four additional Polish dates have been announced, giving fans another opportunity to catch one of British music’s most distinctive voices on stage.
And here at We Shoot Music, we have a particularly good reason to look forward to this one. We covered Sting at Opera Leśna in Sopot a few months ago, and it was A-Mazing! Seeing an artist of his calibre command a stage is a reminder that some musicians simply know how to make a concert feel special. We are already looking forward to seeing him back in the region.
Three Musicians, A Lifetime Of Songs
The STING 3.0 tour takes a different approach to the familiar arena show. Joined by longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, Sting revisits his extensive catalogue in a compact trio format, giving the songs room to breathe while placing his bass playing, voice and songwriting firmly at the centre.
The set draws on his remarkable career, both as a solo artist and as the former frontman, bassist and principal songwriter of The Police. Few musicians can move between such different eras of popular music with the same authority, from the tension of post punk to the sophistication of his solo work.
This is not simply a greatest hits show with the arrangements left untouched. The STING 3.0 concept gives familiar material a fresh musical setting, with Miller‘s guitar and Maas‘s drumming providing the framework for Sting‘s unmistakable presence.
With 17 Grammy Awards to his name, Sting has spent decades building a catalogue that reaches far beyond any single generation. The appeal of this tour lies in hearing those songs reinterpreted live, with three musicians relying on their chemistry rather than a sprawling stage production.
Sting at ERGO ARENA in June 2027
The Gdańsk and Sopot date is part of a four concert Polish run in June 2027. The tour will visit Gliwice on 6 June, Gdańsk on 7 June, Kraków on 9 June and Łódź on 10 June.
For local fans, ERGO ARENA offers another chance to experience Sting’s music live without travelling beyond the region. After our memorable evening at Opera Leśna, we are especially pleased to see him returning to the Tri City area.
