Some announcements are more personal than others, and Marilyn Manson joining Mystic Festival 2027 is huge news for me. I first discovered his music through David Lynch’s “Lost Highway”, and he has remained one of those artists I always come back to, someone whose music I still follow and always enjoy listening to. Seeing him announced for a festival I cover makes this one particularly special.
And it looks like Mystic Festival wasn’t bluffing when they promised that 2027 would be huge. With Marilyn Manson now confirmed as the festival’s third headliner, expectations are getting higher by the day.
Manson will bring his provocative blend of industrial rock, alternative metal and theatrical excess to the Main Stage in June 2027, marking his first appearance at Mystic Festival.
Since “Portrait Of An American Family” arrived in 1994, Manson has built a distinctive musical universe, confronting the darker sides of American society and human nature. From the industrial aggression of his early work to the more recent “One Assassination Under God, Chapter 2”, his music has never been easy to pin down, and that is part of its appeal.
Over three decades, Manson has turned controversy, disturbing imagery and an unmistakable stage presence into a singular artistic identity. In June 2027, that world comes to Mystic Festival, offering fans the chance to experience his music live on the Main Stage.
For me, this is more than another name on the line up. It is an artist whose music has been part of my life for years, and one I will be genuinely thrilled to see at Mystic Festival. If this is what the organisers mean by a huge edition, I can’t wait to see what comes next.
