On July 10, 2025, Wrocław’s Hala Stulecia will shake with something beyond just music – it will be a ritual, a battle cry, a call from the past. Two of the most unique bands in the world, Heilung and The HU, will bring their ancient sounds, mixing forgotten traditions with raw modern energy. It will be a journey through time, through cultures, through something primal inside of all of us.
To see Heilung live is to witness a ceremony, not a performance. They bring back the echoes of the past. Their voices rise like spells from long-lost shamans, their rhythms feel like the heartbeat of the earth, and their instruments – crafted from bones, wood, and rawhide – sound like they belong to another world.
I have seen Heilung live at Mystic Festival a few years ago, and I can say without hesitation: it was one of the most powerful concerts I have ever witnessed. It was not just sound; it was something that spoke to my whole body, to something deep inside me that I didn’t even know was there. The hypnotic beats, the chants, the way the whole stage became a living, breathing ritual – it was overwhelming in the best way possible. Some concerts entertain you, some amaze you, but this one transformed.
Their shows are hypnotic, dark, and deeply emotional. The stage is filled with war paint, antlers, and ritualistic dances, making you feel like you are standing in the middle of an ancient Norse gathering before a great battle. Those who were at Mystic Festival know what I mean – this is something primal waking up inside you.
If Heilung is a ritual, then The HU is a battle cry. They come from the wide lands of Mongolia, where warriors once rode on horseback and songs were sung to the sky. Their music is a mix of the old and the new – deep Mongolian throat singing (khöömei), traditional instruments like the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), and the sheer power of rock and metal.
Since their breakout hits “Wolf Totem” and “Yuve Yuve Yu”, The HU has proven that music doesn’t need borders. They sing in Mongolian, but you don’t have to understand the words – you feel them. Their songs sound like something ancient waking up inside you, something wild and strong, something that connects you to the warriors of the past.
Their live shows are explosive. The pounding drums, the deep voices, the sharp melodies of traditional Mongolian lutes – it all hits like a storm, shaking the air and making the crowd move like a sea in the wind. When The HU plays, the energy is electric, but also soulful, filled with deep emotions and a connection to heritage, power, and the spirit of the land.
When Heilung and The HU will come together, the result surely will be something beyond words. It is a meeting of cultures, a meeting of past and present, a meeting of energies that feel both mystical and raw. These are storytellers, they are messengers from history, they are bringers of something lost but never truly gone.
For those who love music that is more than just sound, for those who want to feel something deep, something ancient, something that stirs the soul – this night at Hala Stulecia will be unforgettable. Expect rituals, warrior chants, hypnotic rhythms, and a deep journey into the past.
