This will be the second edition of the Forest Festival at Sopot’s Opera Leśna, and it is shaping up to be one of the most atmospheric concert evenings the Tricity will see this summer.
The concept is simple and it works: quality music, a venue where the forest is not a backdrop but a co-star, and a commitment to making the whole thing feel like something other than a standard outdoor gig. The first edition proved it wasn’t just marketing copy. The second one doubles down.
The confirmed headliners are LemON and Miuosh, and that pairing, on paper, is genuinely interesting.

LemON is a Polish-Lemko-Ukrainian band formed in 2011 by vocalist Igor Herbut, whose name is a combination of the Lemko word “lem” (meaning “only”) and the English “on.” Four of the band’s releases became gold and platinum discs, and their most alternative record “Tu” was hailed as one of the most interesting albums of 2017. There’s a genuine folk and Eastern European depth running under the alt-pop surface, something that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. In an open forest setting, that texture is going to be felt in a way a club stage simply cannot replicate.
Then there’s Miuosh. A Katowice-based rapper whose career started in 2001, he has been an active innovator in Polish hip-hop, and his work gained international attention through a landmark 2015 collaboration with composer JIMEK and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, fusing rap with full orchestral arrangements. That project was genuinely boundary-pushing, and it remains the clearest proof that his ambitions extend far beyond the genre’s usual walls. The challenge of performing without a DJ or even a traditional beat, rapping against an orchestra, is exactly the kind of artistic risk that defines what Miuosh is about. In the canopy of the Opera Leśna, that cinematic scale makes complete sense.
The official announcement also notes that the two headliners will be joined by carefully selected special musical moments and guests, with more details to follow. Nothing confirmed yet, so watch the organisers’ channels.
