Polish ensemble Falkowski Orkiestra joins forces with Chrust for their full-length release, “Suita Reymontowska”, an ambitious and emotionally charged album set to arrive on December 6, 2025.
The record stems from a unique live project performed earlier this year where the two acts debuted a powerful musical suite inspired by the works of Nobel Prize–winning author Władysław Stanisław Reymont. Now, that live experience evolves into a fully realized studio album that expands on the concert’s atmosphere, sound, and storytelling.
The original performance, premiered during the Kolory Polski Festival in Lipce Reymontowskie, brought together orchestral grandeur and modern sound design. Under the direction of Krzysztof Falkowski, the suite reimagines Polish literary heritage through a cinematic and contemporary musical lens.
Each movement of the suite draws inspiration from Reymont’s iconic novels – “The Promised Land”, “The Comedienne“, and “The Peasants“, with Falkowski transforming these literary worlds into vivid musical narratives. Listeners can expect sweeping orchestral arrangements, electronic textures, and moments of haunting lyricism provided by Chrust’s vocal contributions.
