Faith No More To Headline Mystic Festival 2027 In Gdańsk

The first name announced for the 2027 edition of Mystic Festival is Faith No More, and frankly, this is exactly the sort of announcement you want when a festival is about to reinvent itself.

After five editions in the Gdańsk Shipyard, Mystic Festival is moving to a new home in Letnica, on the grounds of Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk. The 2027 edition will take place from 10 to 12 June, with Faith No More confirmed as the festival’s first headliner.

For Faith No More, this will be part of their return to the stage in 2027 after another extended period away. The band’s return is particularly significant for European audiences, with their confirmed 2027 schedule already taking shape around major festival appearances. Mystic will bring them back to Poland for what promises to be one of the most anticipated performances of the new festival season.

And this is a particularly fitting band to lead Mystic into its new era. Faith No More have spent their entire career refusing to stay comfortably inside one box, moving between metal, alternative rock, funk, punk, pop and whatever else happened to catch their attention. The run from “The Real Thing” through “Angel Dust“, “King for a Day… Fool for a Lifetime” and “Album of the Year” established them as one of the defining and most unpredictable bands of the 1990s, while “Sol Invictus” proved in 2015 that their particular brand of madness had not disappeared.

There is also something rather satisfying about Faith No More being the first name attached to Mystic’s move away from the Shipyard. The festival itself has promised a larger setting, more ambitious production possibilities and the space to accommodate artists for whom the old site and Main Stage had simply become too small.
