In 2027, Epica will celebrate 25 years of turning the collision between metal, classical music, choir and cinematic grandeur into something unmistakably their own. To mark the occasion, the Dutch giants are taking their ambitious “The Symphonic Synergy Tour” across Europe, with Poland firmly on the itinerary.
On 29 September 2027, Epica will bring the production to the Mała Arena at PreZero Arena Gliwice, where the band’s six members will be joined by an orchestra and choir for a show designed to take their music into considerably bigger territory.
And this is not simply a case of putting a few strings behind the guitars and calling it a night.
For a quarter of a century, Epica have built their sound around the meeting point between crushing metal and classical ambition, moving freely through progressive, gothic, death metal and folk influences. Their music has always had a cinematic quality, and “The Symphonic Synergy” gives that side of the band room to breathe on a genuinely grand scale.
The timing is particularly fitting. The band are celebrating 25 years of Epica, while their latest album, “Aspiral“, released in 2025 through Nuclear Blast, showed that there is still plenty of creative fire behind all that orchestral machinery.
The production has already been experienced by audiences in the Netherlands and Mexico, and now the European leg will bring it to just 11 cities. Poland gets its own date in Gliwice, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for fans who want to see Epica in a format that goes far beyond the standard metal show.
And there is another reason not to leave the ticket decision until the last minute. The general sale begins on 18 September 2026 at 10:00 CEST, while a local presale for the Gliwice show begins on 16 September at 10:00.
Twenty five years of Epica, a full orchestra, a choir and one of Europe’s most spectacular symphonic metal productions.
