The new track, “Neuroza”, is now available across all major streaming platforms, accompanied by a video that sharpens the band’s shadow drenched aesthetic and pushes their atmosphere even further into the dark.
On “Śnienie”, Źrenice fuse alternative rock and metal with post rock expansiveness, black and sludge heaviness, and a thread of folk soaked mysticism. Listeners drawn to Esben and the Witch, Emma Ruth Rundle, Messa, and Poland’s own Toń will feel instantly at home in this dense, immersive world.
“Neuroza is a story about confronting a part of one’s identity stuck in the past and the fear of change. An encounter with “the character I know” deepens the disorientation and anxiety, in which the desire for change clashes with fear. The symbolic forest becomes an emotional state leading through resistance and anxiety towards crossing one’s own boundaries. Fear here is not just a threat, but a guide to deeper knowledge and breaking out of the illusory sense of security“.
