The Nu Metal Resurrection Is Teeth, Grit, And Polish Fury

Location: Doki 4, Gdansk
Date: 30/01/2026
Organizer: Live Nation

Forget the nostalgia acts and the tired rehashes of 1999. If you think nu metal died when the baggy jeans went into storage, you haven’t been paying attention to the cracks in the pavement in Krakow. Wirefall is not a tribute to the past, they are a high speed collision between the raw aggression of Linkin Park and the modern, digital grime of 2026.

Formed in 2023, this six piece unit arrived like a brick through a window. While most bands are busy “finding their sound”, Wirefall dropped their debut LP, “Retina“, in June 2024 and immediately started claiming territory. This isn’t just “rap and roll” for the sake of a gimmick. It is a calculated, heavy, and deeply emotional assault. Lead vocalist Mateusz Augustyn is a lightning rod on stage, a man who treats a microphone like a weapon and a confessional booth all at once. Behind him, the twin guitar attack of Tomasz Piesiak and Konrad Kral provides the serrated edge, while DJ Mysterons injects the kind of scratches and electronic textures that make your skin crawl in the best possible way.

What makes them dangerous? They have the “ułożone życie”, the settled lives, the families, the careers, and they are burning it all down for ninety minutes a night. There is a specific kind of desperation and authenticity that comes from men who know exactly what they are risking. They have already torn through Pol’and’Rock and Jarocin, proving that they can command a sea of people just as easily as a sweat soaked basement.

When they hit Doki 4, do not expect a polite evening of music. Expect the pulsing riffs of “Soy Sauce“, the heartbreak of “Time Machine“, and the pure, unadulterated adrenaline of “Pride“. They are the secret weapon of the Polish alternative scene, and the fuse has already been lit.

Get to the front. Leave your phone in your pocket. Feel something real for once.
