The pioneers of electronic music are back! This August 2025, the legendary Tangerine Dream will take the stage at Stary Maneż in Gdańsk, delivering an unforgettable night as part of their much-anticipated “Continuum Tour 2025“. Following last year’s triumphant performances in Poland, fans have eagerly awaited their return – and this time, the experience promises to be even more mesmerizing.

Since their inception in 1967 by Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream has been at the cutting edge of electronic music, redefining the genre with their hypnotic synthesizers, atmospheric textures, and groundbreaking sequencing techniques. Their classic albums like “Phaedra“ (1974) and “Rubycon“ (1975) shaped the “Berlin School” of electronic music, influencing generations of artists across ambient, progressive, and dance music scenes. With over 100 albums released, their sonic explorations have left an indelible mark on both studio recordings and film soundtracks, including iconic scores for “Sorcerer“, “Thief“, “Near Dark” and “Risky Business“.

Now, with their latest work “Raum“ (2022) reaching new heights of acclaim, Tangerine Dream continues to evolve while staying true to Froese’s pioneering vision. Their live performances are renowned for their seamless blend of classic compositions and spontaneous electronic improvisations, creating an immersive experience that takes audiences on a cosmic journey beyond time and space.

Taking the stage in Gdańsk will be Thorsten Quaeschning, the band’s musical director since 2011; Hoshiko Yamane, an accomplished violinist and electronic composer; and Paul Frick, a Berlin-based musician known for his work in avant-garde electronic music.
