About Six Steps Forward
Founded in Krakow in 2012, SSF has become one of Poland’s leading hardcore bands, known for their energetic performances and evolving sound. Initially inspired by bands like Terror and Comeback Kid, they’ve since incorporated influences from The Ghost Inside and H2O into their modern hardcore style. The band emphasizes fast rhythms, heavy breakdowns, and deep, personal lyrics that reflect their ethos of sharing brutal energy and positivity within the hardcore community.

SSF’s creative process for “The Grim Verse” included a two-week retreat to craft the album’s intense and standalone tracks. Their signature approach mixes hardcore foundations with fresh production techniques, marking a new milestone in their 12-year career.
