On June 23, the legendary band will perform at the scenic Forest Opera in Sopot, celebrating their 40th anniversary and promoting their latest studio album, “Parasomnia“.
The Return of a Legendary Line-Up and a New Album
This year, Dream Theater continues to make history. After over a decade apart, drummer and band co-founder Mike Portnoy has rejoined the group. Together, they’ve crafted their 16th studio album, “Parasomnia“, set for release on February 7 under Inside Out Music/Sony Music. Guitarist John Petrucci handled production, James “Jimmy T” Meslin served as sound engineer, and the mix was done by Andy Sneap. “Parasomnia” marks the first release featuring the classic lineup since 2009’s “Black Clouds & Silver Linings“.
The first glimpse of this grand return is the single “Night Terror“- a ten-minute emotional journey through intricate musical landscapes, proving that Dream Theater continues to push the limits of the genre.
