Organizer: 34art.plSince the mid-90s, Myslovitz have been quietly, stubbornly building one of the most emotionally honest catalogues in Polish rock, and this spring they are coming to Gdańsk with something that sounds very promising.
The tour is called “Dla Ciebie (Wpadłem W Głęboką Depresję) / For You (I Fell Into a Deep Depression)“, and yes, that title lands exactly as hard as it should. This is not a greatest hits victory lap dressed up in nostalgia. This is a band arriving with new material, the follow-up to “Wszystkie Narkotyki Świata“, an album that connected with audiences in a way that reminded everyone why Myslovitz matter in the first place. Fresh songs, raw and unfinished-feeling in the best possible way, sharing the same stage with the kind of catalogue tracks that people have been requesting for years but rarely heard live.
And then there are the monuments. “Długość Dźwięku Samotności“, “Scenariusz Dla Moich Sąsiadów“, “Mieć Czy Być“, “Peggy Brown“, each night performed in a version that will never exist again, shaped by the room, the crowd, the collective voice of everyone present. That is the promise here, and it is not a small one.
Stary Maneż in Gdańsk is the right room for this. Intimate enough that the emotion has nowhere to hide, and a venue with enough character to hold the weight of what Myslovitz bring. On the 12th of April, the walls are going to feel it.
