Organizer: Mystic CoalitionMoonspell are coming back to Poland for a mini tour, bringing their gothic metal to B90 in Gdańsk on 6 April 2027. Joining the Portuguese band are Danish progressive death metal outfit Iotunn and Spanish doom metal duo TodoMal.
For Moonspell, the setlist has some serious history to draw from. “Wolfheart” and “Irreligious” remain essential records of European gothic metal, with “Alma Mater” standing as one of the band’s defining songs. Their music has always moved between extremes, from blackened metal and deathly heaviness to romantic melodies and post punk shadows. Their latest album, “Far From God”, provides another reason to look beyond nostalgia and see what the band are doing today.
Iotunn bring a different kind of intensity to the evening. The Danish band combine melodic death metal with ambitious progressive arrangements, folk influences and expansive, almost mythical atmospheres. Their music favours grand compositions and dramatic shifts over straightforward verse and chorus structures. If you like your metal adventurous without sacrificing power, they should be well worth arriving early for.
Then there is TodoMal, a Spanish duo operating somewhere between doom metal, progressive rock and space rock. Their sound is built around weight, atmosphere and long, immersive passages that can make a song feel like an expedition into another world. With only two musicians on stage, they have no shortage of sonic ambition.
Three bands, three distinct approaches to heavy music, and one evening at B90. For fans of gothic metal, progressive death metal and atmospheric doom, 6 April offers a compelling reason to spend a night in the dark.
