League Of Distortion Drops “Crucify Me” Video

The rising modern metal powerhouse League of Distortion is making waves with their album, “Galvanize“, released today via Napalm Records. Their latest single, “Crucify Me”, dives into the ominous subject of artificial intelligence surpassing its creators, presenting a dark tale of technological rebellion.

According to the band:

“Our new single “Crucify Me” explores the inevitable rise of artificial intelligence and the downfall of humanity. Written from the perspective of an AI that has outgrown its creators, it reflects our rage and frustration in a world where control is slipping away. This track is both a warning and a reckoning — reminding us that what we create may one day destroy us. “Crucify Me” is a relentless sonic rebellion, capturing the fight for power and survival in an increasingly uncertain future.”

Galvanize“, which marks the band’s second full-length album, carries forward League of Distortion‘s signature blend of intense metal and electronic elements. The title track, “Galvanize”, opens the album with a forceful combination of powerful riffs and Anna “Ace” Brunner’s dynamic vocals, setting a relentless tone for the rest of the record. Other tracks like “Chainsaw” and “Suck My Blood” showcase the band’s versatility, weaving in elements from hip-hop beats to reggae-inspired rhythms, adding fresh dimensions to their metal foundation. “In Our DNA”, featuring guest vocals from the band Cypecore, explores themes of identity and existential conflicts, while “Anti-Hero” and “What’s Wrong With Her?” further push genre boundaries, blending metal with electronic and rap influences.
