KSU: Punk Still Burns Bright

Polish punk veterans KSU are back on the road with the second edition of their tour “Idź Pod Prąd II”, a title that perfectly captures the band’s spirit since their birth in the late 1970s. Formed in Ustrzyki Dolne, deep in the Bieszczady mountains, KSU became the voice of rebellion under communist Poland. More than four decades later, they’re still standing tall, raw, honest, and loud.

Frontman Eugeniusz “Siczka” Olejarczyk remains one of the most iconic figures of the Polish independent scene. His rough voice and sharp lyrics echo through generations, proving that punk is not about fashion, it’s about truth and resistance. The band’s story was even captured in last year’s documentary “Idź Pod Prąd”, a film that pays tribute to KSU’s roots and their journey from the grey years of the 1980s to the present day.

For this massive tour, KSU are joined by some of the best names in Polish punk, turning every night into a true celebration of independence and defiance.

The Guests

Farben Lehre bring over three decades of energy, melody, and political awareness. Born in 1986 in Płock, they’ve shared stages with The Exploited, Die Toten Hosen, New Model Army, and GBH. Their latest album “Na zdrowie” (2023) proves that the band hasn’t slowed down one bit, still mixing catchy choruses with messages about freedom, solidarity, and joy.

The Analogs, formed in 1995 in Szczecin, are one of the most important voices of Polish street punk. With songs like “Pieśń Aniołów”, “Era Techno”, or “Dzieciaki Atakujące Policję”, they’ve become a symbol of everyday rebellion. Their 2024 release “Bestia” (Oldschool Records) shows that after nearly 30 years, they’re still hungry and angry , ready to raise fists with the crowd.

The Analogs

Opening the night are Criminal Tango, a Warsaw crew who mix punk rock with swing, rock’n’roll, and old-school Warsaw street poetry. Their sound is smoky, cinematic, and full of attitude, like a lost bar story from Grzesiuk’s world, turned into a punk anthem.
