After the announcement of foreign artists, Inside Seaside presents the Polish eleven, which we will see at the second edition of the festival in the AmberExpo halls in Gdańsk on November 9 and 10, 2024.
The festival program is joined by: Artur Rojek, Vito Bambino, Daria z Śląska, Skubas, Kasia Lins, Spięty, Rusted Teeth, JAD, Lor, Sad Smiles and USO 9001.
On the largest of the stages, Gdańsk Stage, we will hear Artur Rojek – one of the most famous figures on the Polish music scene. The artist has always recorded songs that cannot be passed by indifferently, and such songs as “Syreny” or “Bez Koniec” have resonated widely on the Polish scene and delight listeners to this day. , Daria z Śląska received as many as two Fryderyk Awards for her album “Tu Była” released in April 2023, and she will come to Gdańsk after the premiere of her second album “Na Południe Bez Zmian“, whose melancholy is perfect for the Baltic Sea.
Skubas will take a journey into the depths of the human experiences of the participants of Inside Seaside, who sings his emotional lyrics to the accompaniment of sometimes tender and delicate, and sometimes dark, dirty, almost grunge compositions. A unique take on alternative pop will be presented by the one and only Vito Bambino.
On the ERGO Hestia Theatre Stage, festival participants will have the opportunity to discover different faces and sounds of Polish music. There will be Kasia Lins, whose latest, very well-received album “Omen” is a collection of stories about failed love, powerlessness and desire, falls and elation – and her concerts are extremely audiovisual experiences. Tense started with Lao Che, and has been playing solo for several years. His latest album, “Heartcore“, may surprise with its intimacy, but also with its unusual reception – the song “Blue” has been in the peloton of the 357 Song List for 30 weeks. The Rusted Teeth duo will come from Podlasie, which in their music combines grunge with emo and stronger, rhythmic accents, which gives it an original sound.
On the Upstage, located one floor above, JAD will play – a band that plays short but intense. Inspired by Polish punk rock from the 80s, he plays simply and dirty, and adds the directness of Polish lyrics. His complete opposite will be the band Lor, whose extraordinary bond, truthfulness and sincerity make it difficult not to completely immerse yourself in their sound. Sad Smiles is the youngest band at this year’s edition of Inside Seaside, whose strength is live performances. The Polish eleven is closed by USO 9001 – a band juggling genres, drawing on jazz, hip-hop, guitar songs and punk-rock, which was announced as one of the most promising groups in the Sanki poll organized by Gazeta Wyborcza.
There are more announcements ahead of us – both from Polish and foreign artists.
The second edition of Inside Seaside will take place on 9-10 November in the halls of AmberExpo in Gdańsk, under the roof of which you will be able to participate in concerts and numerous accompanying events.
