The Swedes built the template that half the metal world has been photocopying ever since. The combination of death metal aggression with melodic guitar leads and a genuine instinct for a hook, it sounds straightforward now because In Flames made it sound that way. “Only for the Weak“, “Jotun“, “Pinball Map“, tracks that have outlasted trends, scenes, and genre arguments, these are songs that have earned their classic status the hard way. And the band never stopped pushing, never settled into pure nostalgia mode, which is why they still matter in 2026.
The club format is the real story. In Flames at this kind of scale, this close, in a room that breathes and sweats rather than echoes, is a different experience entirely from catching them at a festival or a hall. There is no safe distance. Every riff lands harder, every drop hits differently, and you will feel the room responding around you. If you have only ever seen them on a big stage, this will reset your understanding of what the band actually is.
Support comes from Bleed From Within, and this is not a throwaway opener. The Scottish metalcore outfit have been building at an impressive pace, sharpening a sound built on groove, precision, and riffs heavy enough to leave a mark. They earn their place on this bill.
