The Sea You Music Showcase in Gdańsk is shaping up to be an exciting event, with the lineup nearly complete following the latest announcement from the organizers. As we anticipate this celebration of diverse sounds, it’s time to shine a light on the local talent that will take the stage.
Anastasia Rydlevskaya brings a deep philosophical exploration to her music, blending Belarusian pagan roots with fresh electronic elements and offbeat melodies. Since 2023, she has released two critically acclaimed albums, “When I Can’t Speak” and “Mugwort“, gaining over 500,000 streams. A multidisciplinary artist, Anastasia also integrates visual art into her performances, creating immersive experiences.

Balzam, a Tri-City band formed in 2020, infuses post-punk with gothic rock, cold wave, synth pop, and dream pop. The trio, consisting of Aleksandra Joryn (vocals), Sergiusz Maruniak (guitar), and Karol Stronczek (bass), crafts atmospheric soundscapes that captivate listeners.
Bled is a duo crafting immersive, introspective musical forms inspired by roots music from various cultures, as well as cinematic soundscapes. Their latest project, “Terra Incognita“, embraces minimalism, blending traditional folk influences with modern electronic elements to create a meditative journey.
Cinnamon Gum, led by Maciej Milewski, fuses soul and funk influences with analog production techniques, delivering an authentic retro sound. His work pays homage to the golden era of the ’60s and ’70s, drawing inspiration from legends like Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield, while maintaining a modern sensibility.
Ivo Shandor & The Gozer Worshipers is a highly anticipated project driven by its founder’s creative vision, with a debut album on the way. The group, consisting of experienced musicians, has been meticulously shaping their sound, which will soon be unveiled with an album released by Antena Krzyku.
Kieras, a songwriter and producer, is known for his originality and unique presence on the Polish music scene, with a career spanning over 25 guest appearances on albums. His latest release, “Marzenia Ściętej Głowy“, features collaborations with notable artists and has been well received, including the standout single “Skleroza” featuring Lech Janerka.
Loveworms, a fresh post-punk outfit from Gdańsk, channels the energy of British and Australian influences, quickly making a name for themselves. Formed in 2024, they have already recorded their debut album, set to release in early 2025, and have drawn comparisons to bands like Dry Cleaning and Amyl & the Sniffers.
Nath + Expo, an eclectic duo blending hip-hop and alternative elements, deliver deeply personal and socially reflective lyrics wrapped in genre-defying production. Expo 2000, known for his innovative approach in Polish hip-hop, and Nath, an introspective songwriter, have teamed up for a project that pushes sonic boundaries, previewing new material set for release in 2025.
Oczi Cziorne, an iconic Tri-City band since the late ’80s, is known for its pioneering presence as Poland’s first all-female band, combining rock with poetic storytelling. The group has a rich history of performances at major festivals, collaborations with renowned musicians, and a recent reissue of their debut album alongside an upcoming EP.

Plots, a duo from Gdynia, merges electronic and organic sounds, reflecting both their Tricity roots and international inspirations. Originally drawn to funk in their teenage years, Łukasz (vocals/bass) and Szymon (synths/drums) have evolved their sound into a refined blend of electronic textures and live instrumentation.
Quantum Trio, a Polish-Chilean group straddling Rotterdam and Gdańsk, pushes the boundaries of jazz by incorporating elements of progressive metal. Their upcoming album, “No Way Out“, showcases years of experimentation, evolving their unique musical language that earned them the title of “Debut of the Year 2015” on Polish Jazz.
Remont Pomp, an avant-garde ensemble formed in 2003, blends ethnic and improvisational music with unconventional instruments, collaborating with innovative artists. Known for their collaborations with musicians like Mikołaj Trzaska and Wacław Zimpel, their rhythmic, percussive sound finds a home in experimental and club scenes alike.
Sarsa, a well-known vocalist and composer, returns stronger than ever following her battle with hearing loss, bringing her signature emotional depth and dynamic sound. After two successful surgeries, she released the acclaimed album “Jestem Marta” and is set to unveil new material in 2025, continuing her artistic evolution.
Szumal, a multi-instrumentalist and lyricist, is known for his poetic approach to songwriting, presenting deeply introspective and sentimental melodies. His debut at the Great September Festival in Łódź paved the way for his first album, “Czarna Wiosna“, and he is set to release his second album, “Śpiewnik“, featuring stories of love, loss, and nostalgia.
Trippin’dog, a Gdańsk-based band, fuses industrial rock, trip-hop, and progressive influences, delivering an intense and atmospheric musical experience. Their latest album, “Psychotherapy“, has solidified their status as one of the most compelling live acts in the region, blending heavy guitar riffs with electronic textures.
Zismann X Staniu create deeply evocative trip-hop compositions, with powerful storytelling and hauntingly beautiful soundscapes. Their upcoming album, “Alien“, will be unveiled at the showcase, offering audiences a first listen to its lead single “KRIOTHERAPY“, a track laden with emotion and raw honesty.
With such a diverse and rich lineup, the Sea You Music Showcase promises to be a spectacular event celebrating the depth and vibrancy of the Tri-City music scene.
