Hańba! Hioba Dylana Live, One Night Of Polish Folk Punk Fury

Location: Doki 4, Gdańsk
Date:27/02/2026
Organizer: Dancin' Shoes Gigs

This is not nostalgia. This is not cosplay history. This is Poland dragged by the collar into the present tense.

Hańba! began life as a fictional street orchestra, shouting uncomfortable truths through battered horns, wheezing accordions, and rhythms borrowed from the interwar years. What started as a theatrical idea has hardened into something far more dangerous: a mirror. Ten years in, the line between staged past and lived present has collapsed. Their songs sound like archives that learned how to scream.

Enter Hiob Dylan, a wolf-masked bard armed with a cheap banjo and sharper instincts than most journalists. His Poland is Poland B, unfiltered, unsentimental, hitching rides in tired estate cars, budget flights, and half-promises of a better life elsewhere. Country punk, yes, but stripped of romance. This is folk music that smells of petrol, sweat, and resignation.

Their collaboration, “Za Kim Idziesz”, released by Antena Krzyku in early 2026, feels inevitable rather than planned. Same roots. Same provincial gravity. Same refusal to lie politely. First performed together in April 2022 with “Polska B”, the project has since grown into a shared language of banjo, rage, irony, and bitter laughter. This album did not need justification. It demanded existence.

And live, they refuse to keep it simple. Each night delivers three concerts in one. Hańba! alone. Hiob Dylan alone. Then the collision: Hańba! Hioba Dylana, performing new material where folk becomes punk, punk becomes protest, and protest becomes something uncomfortably personal.

This is music for people who still ask dangerous questions.
Where did we come from?
Who are we?
And most importantly, “Za Kim Idziesz”.

Come ready. This one does not let you off easy.
