45 Years Of Lady Pank in Ergo Arena

Location: Ergo Arena, Gdańsk/Sopot
Date: 24/05/2026
Organizer: Good Taste Production

On Sunday 24 May, Lady Pank will bring their 45th anniversary tour to Ergo Arena with the kind of full-force conviction that most acts half their age couldn’t dream of.

This is the final stop on a jubilee arena run that’s already torn through Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, and Katowice, and Gdańsk gets the closing night. The Tricity audience has always had a particular relationship with the band, and the Ergo Arena show promises to be both a celebration and a reckoning with four decades of some of the most durable rock music Poland has ever produced.

The concert will weave through the greatest hits that have become part of the canon of Polish music, tracks that connect generations of fans across every imaginable divide, with a multimedia show incorporating archive photos and film footage. Think of it as a gig and a document at the same time, the kind of retrospective that earns its emotional weight rather than just claiming it.

But this is emphatically not a nostalgia operation. In November 2025, Lady Pank released “LP 45“, a new studio album, and material from it will feature alongside the jubilee setlist. On “LP 45“, Jan Borysewicz stripped back the arrangements entirely, playing not only all the guitars but also bass, producing a sound that is tight, guitar-forward, and unmistakably close to what the band sounded like in the 1980s. That’s a choice, not a retreat. It signals a band that knows exactly what it is.

The album includes “Uciekaj“, a sharp, propulsive track whose lyrics offer an ironic portrait of right-wing fanaticism, which in the current political climate in Poland lands with more than a little edge. Lady Pank were always a band with something to say, and that hasn’t changed.

The band was founded in 1982 in Warsaw by Jan Borysewicz and Andrzej Mogielnicki, and gained international attention as early as 1986 when MTV placed the video for “Minus Zero” on heavy rotation in the United States. That’s 44 years of consistent presence, which is not something you manufacture. You either have it or you don’t. Lady Pank have it.

Sunday night at Ergo Arena will have “Kryzysowa Narzeczona“, “Mniej Niż Zero“, “Zawsze Tam, Gdzie Ty“, and everything else you know. But more importantly, it’ll have the energy of a band that just put out one of its most guitar-raw records in years and clearly isn’t done yet. Tickets are available via Eventim. Get in while you can.
